Did yours work fine sometimes or did it not shift into gear at all? Mine would go into gear if I worked the gears starting 6th down. Now after sitting 7 months it worked fine but I never went past...

Got it up to 256 kph just to see what it could...

Got it up to 256 kph just to see what it could do. That's 159 in mph. Felt stable but I was more comfortable around 230.

Not sure if we have the same problem but my Boxster suddenly doesn't want to go into gear either. It was fine then I parked it for winter went to move it few weeks later and it won't go into gear....

5500 to remove and install ship and repair gear box from GBox in Boulder CO. I had the infamous 2nd gear slip. Still need to warm car for min in summer and 3 in winter but now shifts like silk!!

When my AOS went it was a puff of white smoke out passenger side engine vent and oil dripping bad out bottom. Thankfully no other problems and I pretty much diagnosed it from this site, Thank you...

I drive the Boxster with summer tires all the time around 32F and its fine. Obviously I take it easy but even with snow tires I would be careful.

I'm in same boat but have been lucky never been caught in snow in 3 years. Need new tires soon debating getting all seasons or running summers again. Live in Vancouver BC but winters pretty mild here...

I had the exact same problem with the headlights...

I had the exact same problem with the headlights being dim last night. I started car today and there fine?? Did you ever find the dimming light problem??
