Fyi, this is very, very easy to remove. Pop open engine bay, one 10mm bolt and unsnap the cable and it comes right out. Again this is in the engine bay right behind the passenger.

Oil Gauge

I am looking at buying a 2000 S, and one issue is the oil level gauge does not function.

Is this common, and is it a sensor I can replace?
