I also have a 2001 986S in VM. HIDs, TT wheels, sport seats and Sport Design interior.
I got it 7 yrs ago from VA. There are 2 others on the Boxsters FB group, one a RUF car.

I lost a wheel in similar fashion back in the day. Used the wrong lug nuts on a '77 Celica, retrieved the wheel and took 1 lug off each of the other wheels to limp home!

The viola metallic paint is listed as a $3010 option on my cars' window sticker. The story I heard was that it sat in the showroom for months, so either not a special order or the buyer fell through...

Here are some pics of the S I just picked up. It's viola metallic with Sport Design package with mostly manual sport seats, xenons, turbo look wheels, and "GT3 console delete" kit with CF knob....
