Here's a pic of the side that has some residue on it. It's on the inside of the lip so it can't be seen when the mesh is installed - it sets against the roll bar. I could see if some adhesive...

986 mesh inserts and windscreen

For sale as a set - in great shape other than a U shaped scratch on the wind screen (see pic). Original owner had tried to seal/glue in the inserts, so there's some residue on the inside edge of one...
