16-inch 2003 Boxster rims on 2003 Boxster S

I need to drive my 2003 Boxster S temporary with a set of 16-inch from a Boxster.
Would it fit? I'm concern about the oversize brake on the S may touch the 16-inch rims.

Could I use 235/40-18 tires for the front instead of the factory recommended 225/40-18? have anyone used this? I know the new 2006 model use this size but don't know if the 2003 Boxster S could use...
