What about put on a Bilstein suspension kit or KW V3.
I recently changed my ROW to KW and am very impressed. Better road feel, similar ride & better more controlled handling.

I believe you can only adjust rebound on PSS9's. The PSS10 which are not available for Boxsters are adjustable for both.

I tried 986 wheels on my S. They did not fit on the front due to the larger red brake caliper. I did not try the rears and would not use spacers due to insurance issues here in Aussie.
