I too have 2.7 2004 Boxster, 70,000km (45000 miles) with one month to go on my cpo warranty. Have tried to find a 2009 or newer but here in Winnipeg there is no selection on the local dealer....

I am hoping for 6 cylinder with about 270 horsepower with DFI. I might just buy it. Wish there was some good solid info available. Bet there will be some good pricing on the 2011's.

Happened to me this last summer and my problem was the micro switch in the parking brake - mine is a 2004. When I took it in to get fixed the tech showed me that it was possible sometimes to "jiggle"...

Got my 2004 Boxster (my 1st!) last may and have out 22000 km on it since then. Age is 56. Should have done it years ago. One of the best mental health tools out there.
