The 71 in the first part number denotes temp. It's also stamped inside on the thermostat itself.

I just received a new set of shifter cables for my 2000 Boxster S.
Upon close inspection it looks like the bushing inside one cable end is split.
Is this normal?
These are brand new in Porsche OEM...

Yes, the tank leak can be intermittent depending on temp.
Mine did basically the same thing.
You need to remove the trunk carpet to actually see where it leaks into the trunk.
