If i were to add 18"s to my 2000 2.7 Boxster, would it be a simple job for a garage to carry out? would there need to be adjustments to suspension/steering?

yeah i thought the same. The fault was definitely in the radiator as steam was coming out of it etc. well it's still under warranty so not paying for the repair which is a bonus, was just concerned...

ahhh, that's great news. it was when the car was simply idling before going anywhere that the 'fault' occurred. as soon as the car was moved, the light went off.
