fuel injector issue

So I’ve got obd2 code 1241, fuel injector, cylinder 5, open circuit. I get the FI #5 part. What’s “open circuit “ ??? Is it the FI or the wiring? If I swap in another injector, problem solved??

I'm pretty sure the 987 parts are a bit wider than the 986 parts. Either the spots where the bars mount to the frames are wider or the full widths of the bars are greater.

It's 2" or so. Fits snugly in the factory coolant hose, but I'll put a screw clamp on it to make it secure. Same for the drain hose.
