No resonance at 3K. The note is mellow and throaty. It's definetly not an over aggressive sound. At WOT the intake is louder (inside the car) than the exhaust. The wife doesn't mind riding in the car...

Just FYI Porsche has a 10 year Limited Corrosion Warranty (mostly covers the body panels). If I'm not mistaken Porsche has been using Galvanized steel for the body sinc the late 70's or early 80's....
