Why Are Alignments So Expensive?
I need to get an alignment on my 2000 Boxster S. My mechanic charges $195 to do one. Can anyone tell me what he is doing that is so much more costly than an alignment at a place like Sears or Pep...

Hey - thanks for all the info and tips. I did get a PPI, which was clean. Bought the car last week and have been having a blast driving it.

Low Mileage A Concern?
I'm looking at a 2000 Boxster S with 7,500 miles on it. Wondering if this is a cause for concern. Seems like it should be great - an almost new 7 year old car. But that's not much required...
