I had a door ding taken out by a guy that does paintless dent removal and I was very pleased with the job he did. I think it was $175 per panel. I only had one to do though. It was a pretty bad...

TSB fix

I did and it was very easy, but I don't think it changed the distance very much. My car is a 2003 and the "fix" didn't seem to extend the distance in mine. Porsche may have done something with the...

turbo Boxster

Anyone that puts one on a Boxster had better plan on keeping the car forever. I don't think there are many people that would buy a Porsche that had one that was not put on by the mfr

There is some misinformation in the answers you have received. The insurance company will determin weather to repair your car or not. The appraiser will use a formula that will determin if it is...

I have the HIFI option and I added the rear speakers. The sound is so much better with the rear speakers. I highly recommend them. I get the base sound from my door speakers

911 trans

I don't think so. I have read that the 911 trns is at the other end of the engine and has to turn the opposite direction from the Boxster. I'm not positive of that though

rear tires

I got 22,000 on my first set of Michelins and they wore very evenly. The fronts were still good for a while, but I changed them because I went to a different brand of tire.

Cdr23

From what I have read the CDR23 is a fiber optic system and that is why nothing will work with it. I have checked with local audio shops and they don't seem to be able to work with that head unit at...

brake dust

I have heard (have not done it yet) that it is good to coat your wheels with Rejex and it makes it much easier to clean your wheels. Rejex is used by the airplane industry.

There is no question for me. I would take the 987 S. My Boxster is the 5th Porsche and the most fun. I have had faster Porsches and I have liked them all, but the Boxster is still the most fun....

I have a CDR23 in my 2003 Boxster and it is my understanding that Porsche went to fiber optics in 2003. Apparently it is very difficult to find equipment that is compatible with the fiber optics. I...
