Some parts are now being turned down as adapters to fit the steering rack. It did take a while before the final starting point turned up (and it ended up in stainless steel), but progressing finally....

From factory, all 986 have 40/36 front and 30/28 rear. Also, it doesn't really make sense to make calipers with equal size pistons. The staggered size is there to reduce tapered wear of the pads.
