JFT many thanks for confirmation. Is there any way to determine when the engine was rebuilt/replaced? I went to a Prosche dealer nearby and they were really useless.

AT in engine number
I have a 2002 Boxster (Base) and the engine serial number has AT in it. Actual number is:
M96/22AT65265202.
I read several posts in this forum that indicated the AT means it was a porsche rebuilt...
