I'm so glad I'm not one of those Chicago guys who stores their Box in the winter. The past two days I've been driving with the top down and the radio up. :D

i drive mine on daily bases, but i have a hardtop on there now, so its just a little bit more complicated than pushing the button so no top down yet :)

heres a 10 day forecast, weekend doesnt look all that good tho, maybe it changes as the date approaches.

You know, we should shoot for January 6th for the ChiLandBoxMeet. It'll be after the holidays so no one will have that hanging over their heads.

I'm a pseudo-weatherman so I'll keep an eye on the forecasts. Hopefully we'll get 50 degrees or more and clear skies.

Nick, I'm one of those dudes who loves cold weather. 50 degrees is the cut off point for the top being down and motorcycle riding. ;)

I'll be in New York for New Years, but Jan 6th works for me...

So now we know when, what about the where ?

Chills, 55 degrees is my cut off for the motorcycle, 60 for the top down.

Some of my fellow sportbike riders and I had a cage run last Friday in the Cary/Lake in the Hills area. The roads were great and traffic was minimal. We could do that or meet in DeKalb and head to the twisties out west.

Hey guys - Jan 6th sounds good - where are you going to meet? And tell me more about these roads in DeKalb & Lake of the Hills. I live near Wrigley and there's no fun place to let loose in the city limits of Chicago unless you count Lake Shore Drive, which is a ticket waiting to happen!

funny thing is that i realized this the other day, 6th is christmas eve for me, how did i forget that?

I am busy the 20th and 28th, but other than that January is free.
