Toronto Boxster

Hi all,

Would be nice to get together with some other boxster owners to trade tips over drinks and beer.

An occassion driving trip would be great too.

LOL do you think that would be wise considering the last few weeks of heat on the highways?

I'll be driving my Boxster up to Toronto from DC for high school friend's wedding this weekend. Say hi if you see a silver Boxster with DC plate over this weekend.

hey I never mentioned going above the speed limit haha I find the cops on the 407 are pretty lazy and rarely use laser at least from my experience (the v1 picks them up very nicely!)... I'm not suggesting we go street racing or anything like that. Maybe Just a little more spirited driving than normal

seems stupid people ruin it for the rest of us. A little faster pace on a clear highway ie. the 407 is not dangerous in my opionion, but it seems some people think that busy roads and high speeds is a perfectly exceptibale thing. I don't mind taking the occasional risks myself but when you could be involving others its purely unacceptable and ignorant.

I hear ya, I have had some spirited drives from TO to Kingston with my previous club, but right now every nanny on the road thinks any two cars traveling faster than THEM are street racing and should be 'called in'. I'll keep my eyes open if you set up a meet.

Hello Everyone,

Just joined your wonderful forum as I'm on a mission to purchasing my first Porsche. I've decided to go with an '01-'02 Boxster S after originally thinking I'd look for an '87-'89 911. After speaking to quite a few ethusiasts and considering I'm not mechanically inclined, I thought I'd get my feet wet with a Boxster before I venture to other model's.

I love the information I've been able to gather thus far! Thanks!

I am also in Toronto, so once I am an owner, I'll hopefully be able to hook up with you guys on your drives!

Toronto Boxster owners

Folks,
would be nice to have a meet of some sorts... any takers? over a cup of coffee or a nice cold beer before Winter comes...
I'm open to suggestions and if i'm free would be more than glad to meet up... otherwise The Box would be hibernating right after halloween!
