1997 Boxster CLUB in Louisiana?
 

hey I'm a young guy that happens to be really lucky and got a boxster 986 1997 as a first car. Im still in school and its lonely out here in Louisiana. I'm looking for people who can help me fix up my interior and custom it!!

It's a slippery slope, my friend. Apart from my dash, I have replaced everything on my interior.

I recommend you save up $2-3k for repairs instead of spending that on mods and interior parts... you're gonna need it.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the 97's had a lot of crap go wrong with them and most previous owners didn't love the car or the brand enough to sort them all out.

You asked about clubs and Randall's website recommends Porsche Club of America (PCA).

I have been a member for almost 40 years and highly recommend it also. There are local regions and a national headquarters. It is not all Boxster, but it is all Porsche and Porsche People.
