Help drivers window

Hey guys quick question. I have a 987.1 and I got home the other day and my drivers side window wouldn’t roll up. I tried the passenger side window switch and that wouldn’t work either. The passenger side door switch works fine to control the passenger window up and down. I took the door panel off and everything is plugged in tight. Am I in need of a new drivers side window motor? Thanks in advance for the help.

Have you checked fuses? They're located in the little panel by the driver's left footwell. There should be a chart in the removable fuse door panel.

Hi
Yes I checked fuses, at this point I’m wondering if I need a new window motor ☹️

Yesterday... wife says, "The windows in the Edge won't operate unless the driver door is open".

Long story short... I opened the door... and jiggled the wiring loom (?) inside the rubber sleeve connecting from the door to the car. You know... the rubber thing that protects the wires (windows, door locks, everything in the door). I figured after repeated open/closin of the door something may have wonked out a bit.

Sure enough, the gentle wiggling/pushing/pulling of that rubber part housing the wires fixed it.

Just saying. Hope you get it figured out.
