A/C and Fan Controls, Re-blacken
 

Almost every Cayman I've seen that has manual temp/fan controls needs the black restored where black coating is worn through and the white plastic underneath is showing.
Replacement of the whole assembly is stupid. What's the rational way to make this look right again? Magic Marker? I'll be somebody's got a good idea, please share it.

If you're referring to the temp and fan speed dials there is a guy in Italy that sells replacement parts for around $100. I've replaced mine and couldn't be happier. I'll see if I can find the web site and get back to you.
