Exhaust?

I'm looking for the deepest, throatiest, sounding exhaust. What would that be?

Unfortunately someone chose my car for vandalism and keyed it. It's been in the shop for a week or so now and I've got a loner 993 w/an aftermarket exhaust. I love the sound of it. It resonates in the interior and I like it, the owner of the car hates it, different strokes for different folks.

Anyway I want my 986 to sound mean, any suggestions on exhaust? Fabspeed? Borla? Dansk? B&B? Remus? ???

This will be easier. If this doesn't make it any louder, nothing will.

Get some nice headers and a good exhaust and it will sound great, make some power and not sound like a Ricers car. I have S-Car-Go headers and Mille Migla exhaust. Trust me it is plenty loud enough.

Though they are quite expensive, my Supersprint sounds sooooooooo sweet. Esp when I added the intake. The combo of the two sounds is just SHWING!!!!!! Keep an eye out and you can get a smokin' deal on one.

Lets see, gives 9 more hp, and makes the car 30 pounds lighter. Definately worth the money if you can't build it yourself. It's still street legal and removes the secondary set of cats. Ever heard a car with the cats removed? VERY LOUD! I just thought it was a easier alternative compared to the first post with the bi-pass valve video.

true, less wait and 9 hp count for something. Do 1997's have 4 cats? when i was under the car i didnt see but only 1 cat per side. If i have 4 cats total, i can have some little mexican muffler shop do it for 50 bucks.

I really like the sound of a Tubi exhaust, but they only make it for the 987, not the 986. It sounds so Ferrari like...

Tubi on a 987S:

For the best sound under $1k, I recommend GHL. You get what you paid for, so the quality is only so-so, all GHL exhausts suffer from broken mounting studs.

I have a cargraphic exhaust now, not as loud as GHL, no resonance though if that's what u like. GHL has plenty of resonance for u from 2 to 3k rpm.

The Tubi sounds nice, but GHL is almost as nice.
