glass top for 1997 boxster
 

I want to buy a 1997 Boxster and was wondering if I can change the plastic to glass

Nope. It won't fold right because it's too large. To go with glass, you have to buy a whole new top. The new one will have a smaller window and not tilt up fully for maintenance, costing a little more in labor to disconnect it when the top of the engine has to be worked on... but this doesn't happen often and most are saying it is worth it.

I too own a 97 and will be buying a glass top soon.
