Coolant Tank - How do I remove the trunk carpet

My coolant level, has crept down every so slightly every time I check (i.e., once a week) and my trunk carpet feels sticky...I have a hunch that the coolant tank may be leaking.

What's the best way and how should I go about removing the trunk carpet?

Thanks!!!

Its super easy, ive done it a couple times. Just take out about 7 fasteners and unplug the light. Then you just pull it out (back first), then bottom. No biggie.

The funny thing is.

Is.

There is really a wooden floor under the carpet.

Wow, thats really bad. Mine was perfect when I took my carpet out. Take the middle piece out first, then the sides, they just lift up.

Changing the tank is something you can do yourself but you may want to brush up on your expletives (major PITA). After reading through the how to's by Toolpants (I think) I gladly paid a local Porsche mechanic to change mine.
