I wonder whether putting in a different ABS pump has upset things? Picture of that wiring would be great. The pump is connected up but not the front abs sensors or brake wear sensors. Thanks for your help, appreciated.

Here's the 535 alarm box from a right hand drive 2003.

Note the [W] pin A23 connects to the DME at pin A3. That is the only connection I see directly to the DME.

I also noticed that D26 on the DME is marked as "Actuation" and connects to the DME Relay [85] through pin 4 of connector X2/3. Do you have power at the relay?

Are you positive that you have a working and matched set of DME + Alarm (Immobilizer) module + key fob transponder?

Here's the ABS 5.7CAN control unit connections.

Also the wiring of the M534 / M535 is different.
And M534 to M535 is also different.
Make shure that you have the correct wiring diagrams for exactly your model year and immo. Else you won't have luck. ;)

So all the wiring checked out. I decided to go back to square one and put the old wiring back in. I have corrected my post above to confirm I have M534.

No lightning power sign now. Just brake fluid warning, as there not much in as I have swapped the ABS pump back.
