Boxster S Engine rattle

My 2002 S has a rattle on acceleration.

While in warranty , (20000 mi.)the Porsche dealers couldn't hear it. Now in my paid extended warranty one said he could hear it, but not to worry. Now have 37000 mi, not much change. No other noticeable changes in sound or performance.

Anyone have something similar?

Ah, I'm interested in the answer to this as well. I'm not an owner yet, still shopping, but I have been searching and test driving a few recently and i had an '02S out for a 15 min jaunt and the same thing occured.

The flat six engine makes a slight "rattling" or clicking sound while at idle which is normal, but under acceleration this is odd. I would have a PPI done by an indy shop if you are serious about the car. There should be not be rattle under acceleration.
