Transmission Skid Plate bolt p/n request
I've removed this before so not my first time. But I don't remeber encountering these bolts? I brought it to a Porsche shop last year and had both side axle seals replaced. Trying to remove it now to do a tranny fluid flush and there are two bolts at the front of the panel. They are triple square bolts and I don't have the correct bit for them. Am I loosing my mind or did the shop put the wrong bolts back in? I can't find the part in the schematics. I think I need new ones now that I attempted to remove with a torx bit. Anyone have the correct part#?

Nope, those are triple square fasteners, they changed them out on you.

Ah ha! I thought so. Anyone have the part# for the correct bolts?

The type of bolt used in this application is unimportant as the plate is under tension, not compression. I'd leave them alone. They are M10 however.

I’m trying to remove it to change the gear oil. I’m also in the middle of upgrading to coilovers and need to disconnect the rear axles. I would leave it alone if I didn’t need to remove it.
