PSS9 helper springs / rear

With the back wheels up on ramps I’ve noticed that my helper springs are solid and I can’t immediately figure out why. Hopefully they are not that way when the car is level I’ll have to get a camera in there. Any thoughts here’s an image

It maybe that they are set solid for main spring control on droop ....... dunno I didn’t install them myself

They are supposed to be fully compressed. They only unwind at droop to keep everything tight

Thank you sounds reasonable. This just caught me by surprise when I looked up at coils. Normally I am not sticking my head up in that direction
