987 wheels

I just want to know if the 987 wheels are compatible with the 986, if so, how big can we go? 18 in or 19 in. Pls help me

I heard no from the dealer. The offsets are different.

987 wheels

Thanks Jonathan! BTW what size are your wheels?

boggtown 11-06-2006 07:01 PM

I'm running 19's, 8.5 front, 10.5 rear, I cant remember the offsets

The 987 18" rears are 9" wide with an offset of 43; stock 17" 986 rear wheels are 8.5" wide with an offset of 50. There should be no clearance issues on the rear, the wheels will stick out an extra 1/2 inch. Likewise there should be no clearance issues on the front with the smaller offset number.

Oops, I meant 987 19s wont fit, Im sure the 18's would. The dealer also said c4 wheels wont fit a c2, incase you have a 911, lol.
