Which side is best ?
 
I want to try and look at my chain guide pads, Is there a best side to look at with a remote camera (snake)..that may reveal the most wear,..? Thanks Frank

I used the green plug over the intake camshaft, you won`t be able to see both pads completely, this thread might give you an idea:
