O2 sensors????
 

My car barely broke 45k its a 01 Boxster S, replacing the exhaust and headers will it be a good idea to replace all the 02 sensors?

Where to buy?
 

Any recommendations as to where to buy them online "cheap"???? :confused: :barf: :(

Hi,

You're into the territory where the sensors could come into issue. But they're not cheap, so I would not necessarily replace them at this time - 60k mi. is what Bosch recommends. But, be prepared to. O² Sensors are somewhat delicate, and you could damage one or more when trying to swap them to your new setup.

To minimize that possibility, I would not remove them from the old headers until they have been removed from the car. This way, you can set them up in a vice at a height where you will get the greatest mechanical adavantage and aren't trying to do it at some odd angle. I think you'll reduce the possibility of damaging them if you do it this way. Good Luck!...
