What are these holes in the cylinder head near the exhaust ports
 
I did search and found nothing... I mean the ones in the channel in this picture, there are six small ones and one larger one.

That is how your SAI gets air into the exhaust ports, often found totally blocked by carbon build up.

Thanks... I had to lookup SAI... Secondary Air Injection.

Suggest you clean out the carbon from the ports. Having full-flow is essential to the functioning of the SAI system. If they restrict flow you'll get a CEL code that will cause you to fail Smog and it will be a real pia to diagnose and repair

Or get an ROW flash and ditch the SAI system altogether.
