rear trunk latch access

How do I remove the plastic cover so I can access my rear trunk latch?

Since I just walked back into the house after having installed the rear fog light hack... that cover was the last thing that went on... that and the two screws on the front of the panel.

My 2005 doesn't have any screws, front being front of car front.

Your, "... so I can access my rear trunk latch?" had me thinking how coincidental... since I was just there.

And then there's the 987 part.

there are two metal clips near the top of the plastic cover that fit into holes in the frame that the latch is attached to. Careful prying with a screwdriver will loosen the latch cover.
