Air Intake System for Basic Boxster 2.7L
 
Any recommendations to replace the stock system with a new filter and intake? Or is it best to stay with a high quality stock air filter?

is your 2.7L otherwise stock? If yes, stick with a stock air filter; absolutely zero benefit in doing otherwise.
