Anybody using an AFE Dry Air Filter?

I just want to ad some low cost mods to my 99 boxter tip. I was thinking of putting in this AFE dry air filter. Not expecting much power but would like a little bit more noise / intake noise when accelerating. Don't want to do exhaust work. Ger.

I see you are probably new to the Porsche zone, and have a lot of questions about your new car.
But, there are people on here who have had them for 20 years or more, and the consensus is usually, just drive it!
I, too, have a 99, and working on a later S. The 99 is completely stock, and low miles, and I intend to keep it that way. But I drive it as intended.
Two suggestions for you: use the search function here. There's SO much info here from some really knowledgeable folks. And really learn to drive the car. Just enjoy it!

I have used AFE dry flow on my cayenne for years... didn't know there was a 986 option! Great fit and easy to clean in my previous experience. No MAF issues.
