LED running lights?

Hi all, wondering if anyone has installed LED running lights themselves? The lights are mad cheap (China, of course) but in terms of power, how do you connect and wire them to the alternator/battery?

The easiest and best way is to convert the fog lights to DRLs. Search for DRL hack and yee shall find. It takes about 5 minutes to install of you have the required part, a fuse tap.

.... and then, of course, your final step will be to replace the OEM incandescent fog light lamps with their LED equivalents, in your choice of colors.

Me, I selected amber LED's for the ex-fog, now-DLR lamps, in order to match the turn signals.

Two options, fog lights as DRL, or LED's installed in the radiator openings wired to 12V switched power. If you go the second route, beware of using lights that are too cheap, I used to have DRL LED's but half of the LED burned out after a few months, and pulling the entire bumper off to replace them is not worth the few dollars saving.
