trunk and frunk switches

Ok so the other day I noticed that which ever switch I pulled the opposite opened so thought must be the connectors under the switches are around the wrong way so swapped them over and it still does it uh?????

Any thoughts?

So ive sorted it, I will explain why and how incase others come searching because they have the same fault.

Normally a switch is a switch and just connects two contacts to create a circuit. Not with these switches, there are little circuit boards inside the switches that sends the signal to switch what ever that particular item is on or off. When I replaced all the LED's in my car to blue I obviously did the switches for the trunk and frunk and thinking the internals would be like normal switches I just put the internals back into the switches without considering they were specific internals for the specific switches so I just had them around the wrong way.

Well all the years of messing with car electrics ive never come across switches where the internals of the switch determine the item its switching, to me its always been the connector connected to the switch that links to the item to switch on and off
