Falken RT660 17” sizes!
 

Looks like the new Falken will offer a 275 width in a 17!!! I’m excited because before this my only other street friendly 200tw tire was the RT615.

Its a dying tire size and I’m excited I get to run my 17x10.5 and 17x8.5 fikse wheels!!!
Support a dying tire size when they’re available (not available yet but listed on Falkens site)

What are you going to run up front, 255/40/17?

That’s the plan. I’m on rt615s 245/275 right now on some 18s.

There's a boxster guy that runs at Sebring that runs 275/40/17 and 255/40/17, forget which tires, possibly NT-01 or Toto R888.

I bet that is a great combo.

I’d like a Goldilocks tire, fast heat up for auto-x but can take some lapping abuse as well. The r888 and nt01 are great tires but don’t pick up heat super fast. I’m wide in the rear to offset a little extra power and TQ with not having TC or a TBD. Trying to learn the car more and hurt some cayman feelings :)

There are no Goldilocks tires. RE71-Rs heat up fast but are destroyed in no time on the track. R888Rs aren't as good for AX but hold up much better on the track. Pick your poison or get two sets of rims!

Initial reports are these are fast but wear faster than the re71. They are also reported to maintain predictable breakaway as they overheat kind of like the rt615.
