I have 3 questions on a 02' boxster (option's list )

1.what is option code C02 I cant find a explanation for it

2.option code 233 is just locks and siren,.( that's means NO mobilizer correct )

3. does the 02' have a low tire pressure warning light ?

Thanks,...Frank

No tire pressure warning light (called TPMS). Our cars are too old for that new-fangled stuff.

C02 is US market emissions. (Not California)

According to this list, 233 is change of tire supplier in production line. Meaning Pirelli to Michelin or vice versa.

And in 1991, CO2 became meaningless as emissions compliance was good for all states (same source).

Curious where you got the link between 233 and locks/siren

meaningless, but that's still what it represents in the VIN? or did they change the coding for it to mean something else now? or does CO2 now indicate simply ALL of the US Market?

All Boxsters have immobilizers, so there is no escaping that.
