Hello all. My 986 has started continuously beeeeeeeeping (as if im about to hit something) when in reverse.

Its original factory sensors.

All been cleaned just incase.

Any suggestions for this????
Cheers folks.

Can you disconnect the, er, connection(s) to the sensor(s)... see if it stops beeping?

Double check fuses.

"Smack", independently, each sensor... maybe one is wonky.

That's all I've got... and is what I would do before proceeding.

Or, earplugs.

Thanks for the reply.
Faulty sensor i think. Whilst reverse is engaged (by someone else obvs) i could touch each sensor. 3 are ‘tapping’ whilst 1 remains dead.

Looks like the bumper will be getting removed!!

Yep that's the way to test them, replacement Chinese ones cheap enough on ebay and work just as well
