CEL flashing, runs rough, restart runs well
 
I have had this happen twice. Upon starting the engine is rough, maybe one cylinder missing and CEL flashing. After restart the engine runs as normal and the CEL is no longer on.
The 60000 mile service is 4000 miles away when new plugs are called for (2005 S). Does this problem sound familiar to anybody?

A bad coil pack can cause this type of behaviour. Check your codes to see which one. Inspect all coil packs for cracks and arcing.
