No Tiptronic manual mode

Xcellr8 Registered User Join Date: May 2013 Location: Central Illinois Posts: 403	No Tiptronic manual mode Working on a 2002 986 with a tip that drives fine in automatic mode. When the shift lever is moved to manual mode, nothing happens. The indicator light on the dash stays in D and the car continues to drive fine. The thumb shifters never work. There are no flashing lights nor are any transmission codes present. I suspected the shift lever micro switch, swapped it out, no difference. Anyone have another idea? Thanks, Joe
