CEL P0455 code
 

Well I had a CEL come on and found code P0455.
I tried a new gas cap and cleared the code but it came back on about 100 miles later.
What should I try next?

Also, where is the canister purge valve located?

This code says that there is a large leak in the EVAP system. Unfortunately, the code doesn't provide any more detail about exactly what might be leaking.

Thus, you will need to test the system for leaks and then test each component to find the root cause of the fault.


It is located in the passenger side front wheel well at the top of the carbon canister. You have to remove the wheel and then the inner wheel liner to see it. This link has a photo.
