trunk ajar light on dash

The trunk ajar light on my dash is lit up but both the front and rear trunk are both sealed tight. The light flashes on and off as I'm going down the road. I popped the front and rear trunks and closed them again but he light on the dash still comes on and off at random. I'll have to wait till after the weekend before I get a chance to look into it. I assume there is a microswitch on the front and rear latch that trips the interior lights as well. Has anyone had this problem before?
Thanks.
Ernie

Fairly common. You can try cleaning both switches with electrical contact cleaner, but I would just replace them.
