Front suspention torque values

After discovering a slight crack in the front subframe i changed the frame, now I need to torque it all up to specs..

So far I have not found a definite value for the two M10 bolts tightening the steering rack to the subframe. One value I found is 47NM and another is 65NM.

Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance!

You should buy an electronic shop manual on eBay. It has all the torque values and also complements the 101 Projects and Bentley DIY guides beautifully.

I torqued it to 47 NM and added thread locker. Felt fine :-)

My factory manual, which does not have recent updates, shows 65 Nm / 48 lb-ft.

Updates typically go for more torque than less

Excellent, thanks! I re-torqued to 65NM, actually felt more reasonable than 47.
