Delayed start up question

I know I have seen info on this but I can’t find it and it is driving me nuts. Most of the time when I press the brake pedal and turn the key I hear a click the dash lights come on and my 987S starts right up. BUT sometimes I press the brake pedal and turn the key nothing happens... I then turn It back and forth a few times and within 30 seconds or less I hear the click and it starts.? Can someone tell me What is causing this?
Thanks

These cars are known to have some bizarre ignition switch issues. This sounds like one of them so it may be time for a new one.

Thanks I will look into it further. It never happens first thing in the morning or after sitting for awhile. Usually if I try to restart shortly after turning it off say 5 min later... I would love to hear if anyone else has had a similar problem. Cheers

Don't look into it. Just replace it.
