Torquing the subframe

Well boys..

I was installing my new fancy GT3 LCA:s last week and made a nasty Discovery, a slight crack in the front subframe, just where the LCA is connecting.

I guess it can be welded but I would not feel comfortable with that so I took the subframe out and bought a used one.
I have a track event in 1,5 week so I need to get things going..

So, now I am trying to find the torque values for the sub frame.. Any hints would be much appreciated. (Note to self: Buy the Bentley book)

Anyway, here are the pics (so yes it did happend) any thoughts?

118ft lbs sounds reasonable, anyone against?

It takes a pretty good whack to crack the subframe. Ask me how I know. :)

Joking aside, it can happen from a good bang into a curb at what would otherwise seem like a fairly low speed.

Good job in spotting the damage on your car. I agree with your decision to replace rather than repair. Hope it all goes back together quickly.

That was two years ago. I was fine. The car was repaired in less than three weeks and I made the next race and I've been racing it ever since with no problems.
