Will 986S muffler fit std 986

Currently have a boomy non original muffler on my 1997 986. It is very noisy on low rpms anf then sound OK when reved.

Found a used 986S muffler that I can buy. Will it fit? Realise that it has two tailpaipes, so has my boomy system

Max

It will fit, but you’ll likely need the cat back “u” pipes and the mount that attaches to the transmission to make it work on your early car.
