Please help identify this cam-end plug?
Hey y'all:
so, I'm in the process of assembling parts so I can reassemble. I can't seem to find a replacement for the plug that popped out of the head when it was pressurized. I was on the phone with Pelican, who convinced me that all the cam-end-plugs are the same size, even though I was pretty sure he was wrong. So I ordered 'em that way.... yeah.... I was right. So I jumped online to find a photo to see if y'all could help me identify. Right-side as you look at the photo below; brown-ish plug-cover over the intake cam. (Above the scavenge-pump) What is that one called, and who has them for sale? This is the one that was expelled entirely from the motor, causing the AOS to just keep pumping-away trying to build vacuum back into the crankcase. .... sending buckets of oil into the intake, which is now running down my armpits as I remove the exhaust.... hahaha. ::sigh:: http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1544293394.jpg |
I think this is what you're looking for.
