Amazon Basics Oil???
Has anyone used Amazon’s new branded oil? I’ve read that it’s from the distributor Warren that makes a lot of other oils as well. It’s advertised as “European Formula”, just not sure if I trust it to put in my baby (‘03 986 with 130k miles)?

OK I'll bite
What's there to think about. It's almost $5 cheaper than Mobil 1 from Wally world.
I could save $10 a year at that rate, that's almost 2 Starbucks coffees
I can't wait for Amazon to start branding and selling Milk and bread. No more late night or before snow storm running out to the store

I'll put this in my body:
...but for my cars, I'm pretty much convinced that Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 is the best balance of quality, price, and additive package. Currently only $19.97 at the Wally'.

That's mean he only asked for advice. You can put any oil in these engines just as long as it's synthetic oil.

Why take a risk on unbranded oil? Just buy Mobil1 and be done with it.

I have been using Rotella T6 for more than a decade, started with Saab turbos then Boxster. Higher zinc content to protect bearings, great value and never had any issues.
