Cluster is out of my 01

I sent my cluster off to VDO Repair to have the center LCD replaced. My question is this.

Can I start the car with the cluster out? I don't plan on moving the car, but it has been sitting, and I would like give her a start. Let it charge for a little bit etc.

Thanks

If you are looking to 'let it charge' why not attach a battery maintainer?

it is in a rented garage with no power outlets. Doesn't have windows for a solar charger either.

Take the battery out and charge it at home......put it back in when you need it and make sure you leave the frunk unlatched or have the manual release cable rigged to open without power.

Cteks are great
